For this painting, I painted a whale. I think the color scheme of my panting turned out nice and all the colors look good together. The texture in the water turned out really nice and looks a little more real.  I think the value with the light sky and dark water look really nice together.  I feel like I could have added more contrast to my piece to make it look better. Also, I should have added more empathize to the whale. Overall I like the background a lot but wished my whale turned out different.
